Rather than compete, MAE is there to fill the existing gap in education between mainstream schools and special needs centers. A 20-minutes screening is completed to assess whether your child meets the criteria for a trial, and in which class to have him/her trial in. A 1 or 2 days trial is for looks at skills such as cognitive ability, interaction, and basic academics. The trial also provides an insight into the level of support your child requires to access our program to their full potential. Levels of support include 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1.

If the screening or trial process reveals that a child is not at the appropriate level of functioning to benefit from our programs, you will be referred to other trusted special needs centers or mainstream schools. MAE, being a fair and not for profit center, believes it would be a shame for parents to pay for a program that would not benefit their child.
